🦃 Holiday Table: What Pets Can & Can’t Eat

Thanksgiving is full of tempting aromas that have tails wagging and noses twitching — but not everything on the table is safe for our furry family members.

Safe in Small Amounts:

  • Plain turkey (no skin, seasoning, or gravy)

  • Plain cooked sweet potatoes

  • Carrots

  • Green beans (no butter or garlic)

  • Pumpkin (pure, not pie filling)

🚫 Dangerous Foods:

  • Stuffing (garlic, onions, herbs)

  • Turkey skin & gravy (high fat → pancreatitis risk)

  • Chocolate

  • Grapes & raisins

  • Macadamia nuts

  • Xylitol (found in sugar-free desserts)

👉 Rule of paw: If it’s seasoned for humans, it’s probably unsafe for pets.
