Interesting Facts

  • Dogs have a sense of time and can feel emotions such as jealousy and guilt.

  • Dalmatians are born completely white and develop their spots as they grow older.

  • The Basenji is the only bark-less dog breed, but they are known for making other interesting sounds such as yodels and howls.

When your dog leaps to greet you at the door, it’s more than just excitement — it’s science-backed love.

Recent MRI research led by Gregory Berns at Emory University shows that pups’ brains react most powerfully to their owner’s scent.

The caudate nucleus, a brain area tied to joy and reward, lights up even more for human loved ones than for food or toys.

This means your scent sparks genuine happiness deep inside your dog’s mind.

Further studies reveal pups respond just as strongly — or even more so — to a familiar voice or affectionate praise as they do to treats.

So, every wag, snuggle, and gentle lean is true proof of the unique bond you share with your furry friend.

Give your pup some extra love — they feel it, right to their core.
